The concept of EpiCure, a yet to be founded company, was one of the 5 winning teams in the second round of the business plan competition by BayStartUP. The scientist around Thomas Carell work on the development of epigenetic therapeutics - above all carbacitabine - which are used to treat cancer, in particular leukemia. Already in the first round of the Munich business plan competition BayStartUP, Epicure was one of the winning teams amongst 130 applicants. Now in the second round the Epicure-Team Corinna Pleintinger, Yasmin Gärtner and Matthias Heiß have won the first prize. The Bavarian Business Plan Competition has been organized by BayStartUP for 25 years. The winners benefit from the expertise of renowned expert juries, business angels and venture capital and enjoy broad visibility in the start-up scene. Congratulations Epicure!
