CNATM Kick-off Meeting 2nd Funding period
With great enthusiasm all partners came together for the kick-off meeting for the start of the second funding phase of CNATM (Clusters4Future initiative funded by the Bundesministerium für Forschung, Technologie und Raumfahrt).
During the kick-off meeting, the spotlight was initially on the cooperating companies and their respective project tasks. During the closing networking session, the focus shifted to the academic project contents, which were presented in the form of impressive posters.
The agenda also included an introduction to our new partner, BioM Biotech Cluster Development GmbH, and a presentation about the MAXL Incubator. The programme was rounded off by a contribution from our Projektträger Jülich (PtJ).
The open exchange between existing and new partners was especially useful for identifying synergies and fostering collaboration for the second funding phase. We are looking forward to the next 3 years and to the collaboration within the consortium.
Another highlight was the handover of certificates for the CNATM Innovation Award 2026, alongside the presentation of projects by the winners in the two categories (postdoctoral and doctoral researchers). The award recognises outstanding scientific contributions in the field of nucleic acid therapies. It honours particularly innovative research that advances the development, implementation or clinical application of therapeutic nucleic acid therapeutics.
